Merak-Jinxin takes care of all quotation processes for the Chinese market, while quotations for the rest of the world go through the Merak headquarters in Spain, where also the design of the systems takes place.

The state-of-the-art production centre in Wuxi comprises 8 lines for large components as well as 4 lines for small components. It meets ISO9001, ISO14001 and German welding standards. Adherence to global standards and the use of advanced manufacturing concepts such as the Knorr-Bremse Production System (KPS), supported by SAP management software, ensures maximum added value for clients in terms of quality, delivery times and costs. Testing equipment, used for routine tests and water tests, complies with both European and Chinese standards.

The current configuration enables Merak-Jinxin to deliver up to 2,200 HVAC systems a year, covering the full range business scope: production of heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment for long distance railway vehicles (high speed trains, conventional coaches, locomotives) as well as mass transit railway vehicles (metro and light rail vehicles), parts and components thereof, sales of self-produced products and provision of after-sales services.
