Merak's Engineering Department uses modern computer technology to assure efficient solutions for design and layout in order to comply with all our customers' requirements.

Computer Aided Design CAD

CAD is used for two- and three-dimensional design of metal sheet structures and other components that the unit is made of, as well as integration of mechanical, electrical and refrigeration installation.

Computational Fluid Dynamics

CFD simulates the air's behaviour while it is being moved through a certain trajectory by the ventilators inside the unit. These simulations help us to improve the airflow and reduce its noise as well as optimize the temperature and airflow distribution inside the vehicles.

Finite Elements Analysis (FEA)

FEA calculates the stress that structures suffer during their lifetime, by simulating the loads they are under, and allows to optimize the design from the structural and weight points of view.
